Pinchers Crab Shack

Marco Island Seafood and Fun

Pinchers on the Island

Pinchers Crab Shack is a true American dream story. Co-founder Tony Phelan was battling cancer but still opened a small restaurant in a small 1,500-square foot location. Tony was committed to his new job and strived to offer fresh seafood in a fun and casual environment.

Fast forward to today and Tony along with his family own and operate 11 Pinchers locations across Florida. The location in Marco Island is consistent with Tony’s vision and offers some of the freshest ingredients available. In fact, local fishermen and crabbers bring their catch of the day to Pinchers every day.

Hours and Menu

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and stays open an extra hour on Friday and Saturday. As one would expect, the
menu is full of fresh fish with notable standouts including Grouper, Blue Crab, and Stone Crab.

Guests who don’t want to eat fish or seafood have a few options to choose from, including baby back ribs, chicken wings, burgers, and salads. Kids eat for free from the children’s menu.

Happy Hour

Happy Hour specials take place daily from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and guests can choose Oysters, Clams, Shrimp, or Wings for 99 cents each (multiples of six). The restaurant also offers two for one specials on drinks every day.

The Sun King’s Review of Pinchers

The Sun King really enjoys eating at Pinchers. The atmosphere is festive and happy. The food is very good. The location is ideal for walking to dinner from your
beach condo rental. It’s in the Marco Walk Shopping Center which is an easy stroll from any beach condo south of the Marriott.

The Sun King recommends the Snow Crabs if the Maryland Blue Crabs aren’t available. He can’t speak on the raw oysters, because them’s nasty.
