Don’t confuse Joey D’s on Bald Eagle Drive with Joey’s Pizza on Collier. Joey D’s offers guests authentic Italian cuisine in a rustic and relaxed environment. The restaurant caters to customers looking for a quick bite to eat or hoping to sit back and relax while catching a sports game on one of the many TVs.
The restaurant is open Sunday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and offers a menu that is heavy on Jersey and New York-style thin-crust pizza. Guests can create their own pizza or choose from one of the many specialty pizzas on the menu. Some of the notable standouts include Cheesesteak Pizza, a Five Meat Pizza, and Five Cheese Pizza. Many TripAdvisor and Yelp reviews praise the Philly Cheesesteak which would be consistent with the homage to Philadelphia sports teams on the wall.
Joey D’s also offers a complete menu inspired by Naples, Italy. Guests can choose from one of many pastas, baked entrees, seafood dishes or chicken and veal plates.
The restaurant offers plenty of beer choices and traditional sports-bar food like Chicken Wings, Loaded Fries, and others.

The Sun King hasn’t tried Joey D’s yet. Even though this Joey has been on the island for a few years, the Sun King is set in his ways and hasn’t eaten there. Stay tuned for his review.
