Incredible Water Views

Island Gypsy describes itself as being “locally world-famous” and offers guests a fresh meal with direct views of the Gulf of Mexico. The water views are great. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable. In season, the Island Gypsy can get crowded so come early.

The Menu

The open-air waterside dining spot offers guests fresh seafood and fish options daily from 11:00 to 10:00 p.m. Some of the notable standouts on the 
menu include a Smoked Fish Dip, Seared Ahi Tuna and crispy wontons salad, a Po-Boy “Fried Shrimp” Wrap, and more.

A separate dinner menu is offered as of 4:00 p.m. and includes multiple entrees that also focuses on seafood and fish. The restaurant does serve a variety of other dishes, including steak, pulled pork, burgers, and chicken dishes.

Cocktails and Entertainment by the Water

Wine can be ordered by the glass or bottle and the bar offers a handful of draft and bottled beer.

Live entertainment is provided Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon. Multiple reviews appreciate the fact that the music isn’t too loud so guests can converse with each other.

The Sun King’s Review of Island Gypsy

There are only a few things that the Sun King enjoys more than dinner on the waterfront. On Marco Island, he has plenty of outlets for this pursuit. Island Gypsy is one of them. The food is great. The atmosphere is fantastic. It’s really one of those places that will be a memorable part of your vacation.
