Located in the historic Olde Marco Inn (built in the 1800s), Bistro Soleil serves French cuisine and seafood in a cozy environment. The family-owned and operated restaurant is overseen by Chef Denis Meurgue, a native of France who won multiple awards during his career as a professional cook.
Denis, along with his Wisconsin-born wife Lisa, operate Bistro Soleil with influences from Mediterannean, Mexican, European and Caribbean cuisine. The
French restaurant opens for dinner service from Tuesday to Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Classic French
menu options include Canard a l’orange (duck with an orange bigarade sauce) or côtes de boeuf braisé (braised beef short ribs). Each menu option includes a complimentary house salad and is served with seasonal vegetables and a rotating selection of starch. Guests can share plates for a surcharge of $9.95.

The restaurant offers an extensive wine list, naturally with a focus on red, white, and rose bottles from France. Live music is offered Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays by Dan Vass, a professional musician with four decades of experience. Guests can hear Vass play on the piano, keyboard, and violin.
For an added experience, Bistro Soleil plans and organizes trips to France which includes cooking classes, wine tastings, and visits to farms.
