Kane Tiki Bar & Grill is located in the JW Marriot hotel and is named after the Polynesian God of Creation and Growth. The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m. It serves delicious Indonesian street food and is located steps away from the beach. The tiki hut was specifically angled toward the setting sun (during the winter months). The view is absolutely spectacular and may be the best restaurant view on the island.
Kane doesn’t serve your typical bar food. Guests are invited to enjoy Indonesian-inspired street foods like Hoisin Pork Belly Bao or Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings. Traditional American pub fare is also on the menu, including a Cheese Burger and Chicken Caesar Wrap. Desert options are limited to a Macadamia Pie or a Coconut Rum Cake. Adults can take advantage of the daily “Sunset Sessions” where they can sip and savor a selection of rum. Of particular note, Kane is among the few bars in the U.S. to serve Bacardi’s most exclusive rum. To top off the evening, adults can enjoy a complimentary hand-rolled cigar made in the Little Havana district of Miami.
If you’re not staying at the Marriott, but at one of the Sun King’s vacation rentals, parking for Kane or any of the JW Marriot restaurants is easy. Self-parking is available for $5 for up to three hours. Valet parking costs twice as much for the same amount of time.
If Marco Island is the Sun King’s kingdom, Kane Tiki Bar is his castle. He has proclaimed “Kane will take your breath away.” You’re able to get not only perhaps the best drinks and bar bites anywhere, but the best view too.
