Chef Francesco Carvelli was born in Italy and decided at the age of 13 to attend culinary school. Within seven years he was working at his brother’s restaurant, nearby Davinci’s.
Today, Chef Carvelli is a true master of the grill at Marco Prime and the restaurant is open for dinner from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. The upscale setting and atmosphere match some of the finest cuts of beef in the world, including Australian Wagyu and American Black Angus steaks.
A La Carte menu options start at $30 for a pork chop and go as high as a $110 48-ounce Porterhouse for two people to share. House specialties include Wagyu Beef Tips and a Ground Wagyu burger. Besides the best steaks on Marco Island, the menu also includes several fish and chicken options.
The wine list is likely to please the most demanding client and the handful of multiple signature cocktails and beer choices are attractive enough to keep everyone else happy.
Happy Hour specials are available at the bar from 4:30 p.m. through 6:00 p.m where guests can enjoy a selection of finger food and sushi options at discounted prices. Outside of Happy Hour, guests can enjoy American Bar Fare at reasonable prices.
