Michelbob’s Ribs serves what it claims to be the “best ribs in America.” It’s hard to argue with them. Founded in 1979, Bob Mattson and Marsha Gibbs opened their first restaurant in Naples, Florida with the purpose of offering champion-quality BBQ food in a friendly and casual family atmosphere. The location in Marco Island only offers take-out.

Michelbob’s Menu

Michlebob’s menu is full of classic smoked and BBQ food with multiple specials and combos. Guests can order “just the meat” with sides a la carte or opt for one of the many combos. Some of the meats available include smoked sausages, chicken, pulled pork, ribs. BBQ fanatics know a meal isn’t complete without sides and the restaurant offers classic options like beans, coleslaw, and potato salad.

Catering and Parties

Guests looking to feed a crowd of up to 90 people can order from the menu. Guests looking to please a much larger crowd can call the restaurant to enquire prices and request on-site cooking and service.

Award-winning BBQ

The restaurant is particularly proud of its many BBQ awards, including three first-place finishes in both “Best Ribs In America” and “Florida’s Best Ribs.” International championships include “Canada’s Best Steak” and “Canada’s Best Sauce.”

The Sun King loves Michelbob’s. The barbeque is as good as they say and the Sun King knows good barbeque. Michelbob’s on Marco Island is takeout only which is perfect for enjoying back at the condo or rental property. Call your order in early to be sure they don’t run out.
