Old Marco Pub & Restaurant offers guests a neighborhood-like bar environment best described by regulars as a dive bar. But that shouldn’t distract guests from the extensive menu with multiple upscale items to order from. Truly, if this is a dive bar, it’s Marco Island’s version of a dive bar. As you probably already know, Marco Island’s version of everything is about two-notches better than the norm.
Open Monday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., guests can enjoy one of the many seafood options, including Clams Casino, Crab Cakes stuffed with Crab Meat. Beef lovers have plenty to choose from as well, including multiple steak cuts, lamb, and chicken options. Dishes are brought to the table with a beautiful presentation which makes the food look as good as it tastes. The food can be complemented with a signature or classic cocktail from the beverage menu.
Happy Hour specials are offered daily from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. During the week the restaurant offers a special on lobster consisting of twin six-ounce Maine Lobster Tails and comes with an appetizer and side.
If Marco Island is lacking in anything, it’s live entertainment. Of course, the Sun King has his court composer, but like you, he appreciates minstrels plucking guitars while he eats. The Marco Pub & Restaurant is one of the few places on the island that features live music on the weekends and guests can dance the night away with a live band.
The Sun King gives Old Marco Pub and Restaurant two thumbs up. One of the King’s favorite things on Earth is a perfectly cooked Filet Mignon au Poivre. Old Marco Pub is the only place in southwest Florida that you can find this delicacy. Add to it, a great atmosphere and live music and you have something really special.
The Sun Queen is equally enthusiastic about Old Marco Pub. The blackened Grouper is usually her first choice, along with a glass of Chardonnay.
