Sand Bar is among the few restaurants in Marco Island that is open 365 days a year and offers guests a complete sports bar experience.
Guests can tune in to one or more of the 40 TVs, including multiple 80-inch LED HDTVs with portable table speakers. As one would expect, the restaurant offers “Game Day Deals” and Happy Hour specials from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and from 10:00 p.m. until closing time.
Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m and options include traditional American fare like Pancakes, Waffles, French Toast, among others. The lunch and dinner menus offer food one would expect from a sports bar, including Chicken Wings, Nachos, Burgers, and much more.
House Specialties include Fingers and Toes, it’s own version of Fish and Chips.
The bar offers a selection of 16 beers on draught and multiple more bottled options.
When there are no sporting events to watch, Sand Bar hosts trivia events with bar patrons from across the U.S. through a Trivia Tablet. The restaurant also offers two pool tables along with interactive games to keep kids entertained.
Weekly events include Poker on Monday nights, DJ Trivia and Karaoke on Wednesday night, and Bottomless Bloody Mary Bar Sunday morning.
The Sun King enjoys watching modern-day gladiators on the forty wide-screen TVs. The beer is cold. The Sand Bar is a good time. The Sun King can’t vouch for the food as he has never tried it. The beer is tasty though.
