Stilts Bar & Grill is located in the Marriott’s Crystal Shores complex and its name pays homage to the simple fact it is a bar and grill-style restaurant on stilts. The elevated beachfront restaurant offers unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico in a casual dining experience.
Stilts is still a great option even if you’re not staying at Crystal Shores. Parking is free. Just drive around the building to the left side and you’ll be there.
Stilts makes a great break from the beach for lunch. It’s located near the southern end and is easily accessible from the beach.
The
menu consists of typical American bar food, including tacos, burgers, salads, and more. Breakfast is available Friday through Sunday as of 8:00 a.m. and the restaurant stays open until 9:00 p.m. During the week the restaurant opens for lunch service at 11:00 a.m. and remains open until 9:00 p.m. The restaurant is kids friendly and isn’t exclusive to hotel guests.

The Sun King loves Stilts Bar & Grill and has had lunch here countless times over the years. The view is one of the best on the island. There is almost always a comfortable breeze blowing. Most importantly, the food is great. The Sun King usually goes for shrimp or grouper tacos. He’ll vouch for the burgers and key lime pie, too. If your Marco Island vacation will include some drinks by the waterfront, the bar at Stilts is waiting for you and there may be no better place to throw a few back.
