The South Sea Towers are four high-rise condominiums that are part of the gated community of South Seas Resort. Vacation condos in South Seas are renowned for their magnificent location and broad collection of amenities. It’s also a favorite place among vacationers because it offers beach access along with boat access to the Gulf. It’s also close to restaurants and shopping. The four matching buildings of the South Sea Towers have are actually two pair with each pair having individual policies. Foremost among the differences is the minimum rental periods. Towers 1 and 2 require a minimum rental period of 30 days. This restriction is typical on Marco Island. It reduces guest turnover and is perfect for snowbirds which like to spend the entire winter in their South Seas Towers rental. These condos usually are booked well in advance of the busy season but are incredibly affordable for off-season rentals of at least thirty days. Towers 3 and 4, on the other hand, allow weekly rentals. Like Towers 1 and 2, these will be sold out in the season. The shorter minimum rental period keeps the demand for these units up year-round. Families and working couples that can only get away for a week love to spend summer vacations in Towers 3 & 4.
South Seas Towers rental units offer some of the most attractive rates on the island. Rates at towers one and two are affordable during the off-season. If you can stay for at least thirty days, you’ll be able to take advantage of prices under $100 per night (with cleaning fee included). If you can’t stay for a full month, expect to pay closer to $150 per night for a two-bedroom condo in Tower three or four. During the winter season, rates are closer to $200 per day.
These rates are still very reasonable when you consider the location and amenities the property offers against Marriott hotel prices just down the beach.
When it comes to South Sea Towers, all condos for rent offer magnificent views of our white-sand crescent beach and the Gulf of Mexico. To the north, you can also see the vast mangrove forests of Tigertail beach and the Rookery Bay. The view from the balconies is out of this world. It combines tropical beaches, tangerine sunsets over the Gulf, and the preserved nature of the northernmost area of the island. Pelicans will fly right by your window.
What’s also unique about the South Seas Towers beach condos is their position between the beach and the bay. On one side you’ll have premium access to Marco Beach. On the other is Marco Island’s picturesque Clam Bay. The resort is right next to Tigertail beach. Some of the best shelling exists between South Seas and Tigertail.
There are boat docks on Clam bay that are accessible to South Seas tenants. Bring your boat and enjoy easy access to the Gulf of Mexico from within the gated community. All South Seas condos for rent have two bedrooms and two baths. They usually sleep six with four in the bedrooms and two on the sleeper sofa in the living room. Most of the master bedrooms are equipped with queen-size beds. A few have king beds. The second bedrooms are usually outfitted with two twin beds or a bunk bed. First-floor condos have direct access to the beach from their lanais. Most units have spectacular views of the beach from the family room and the master bedroom.
There are several heated swimming pools within the perimeter of the South Seas Resort. They’re in the shadow of the towering buildings and tall palm trees. To the north end of the Towers is a lagoon. It’s fun to walk across it and explore the natural landscape. You’ll find lively and colorful fauna there that’s missing from the beaches down south.
Various things to do on the island are easily accessible by car and even on foot. For example, some of the island’s most popular restaurants are within walking distance (Joey’s Pizza and Doreen’s), and everything else is just five to ten minutes away by car.
The South Seas resort is the northernmost condo on Marco Beach. The access to Tigertail beach and the bay makes its location unique, while the different rental periods make it easier for renters to find the right deal.
